For teams who want design decisions backed by research, not opinion.
When is the perfect time for UX Design?
Starting from a blank screen
A build begins with mockups but no evidence about what the people using it actually do, or where they get stuck today.
Usage keeps sliding downward
The interface hasn't changed, but fewer people finish the task it was built for, and nobody agrees on why.
Support keeps hearing the same confusion
The same question comes in from different users, but the internal read is that they didn't read the instructions.
A new kind of user is joining
The product is expanding to a group who work differently than the ones it was originally designed around.
People drop off mid-flow
Signups, checkouts, or onboarding sequences lose people at a specific step, and the fix keeps guessing at the cause.
The product direction changed
A pivot means the interface now serves a different job than the one the original design decisions were made for.

The UX Design Roadmap
Discovery interviews
We talk to the people doing the task today, in their own context, and record what they actually do, not what internal assumptions say they do.
Journey and problem mapping
Interview findings are organized into a map tied to a specific decision or outcome, marking where the current design creates friction and why.
Interaction design
Flows and wireframes are built to address the friction points directly, covering the states most concepts skip: empty, error, loading, permission.
Usability testing
Prototypes are tested against real tasks with real users before a build starts, catching what stakeholder review can't.
Accessibility review
Keyboard, screen reader and contrast checks run against the finished flows so accessibility is built in, not bolted on after launch.

FAQS
Common questions about UX Design.
This is the research and interaction discipline underneath that engagement — interviews, journey mapping, and testing. UI/UX Design covers the fuller build, visual system included. You can use this on its own to validate a direction, or as part of that larger engagement.
Mockups show what a screen looks like, not whether the task inside it works. We can run interviews and usability testing around existing mockups before a build starts, which is usually cheaper than finding the same problems after launch.
Fewer than most teams expect. A handful of interviews with the right people surfaces most of the recurring problems; more sessions after that mostly add confirmation, not new findings.
Then that gets said plainly, with the evidence attached. We're not here to rubber-stamp a direction that's already decided — the point of research is to change decisions when the evidence calls for it.
We can, or we can hand documented findings to your design team. Where the fuller visual and system work is called for, that's the UI/UX Design engagement — this page is the practice that feeds into it.
